Exhibition: Heiress, Sargent’s American Portraits

We are delighted that the first major loan exhibition at Kenwood in 25 years was received with widespread acclaim and extensive local and national media coverage.

Heiress, Sargent’s American Portraits is the fruit of a major collaboration between English Heritage and the Friends of Kenwood in which the Friends not only helped with funding and fund-raising but also brought in curatorial advice and organisational, marketing, press, retail, translating and other skills.

The exhibition included loans from major institutions and private lenders at home and the US.
