Lecture Theatre AV Upgrade

The Friends made a substantial contribution to upgrade the audio-visual equipment in the Kenwood Lecture Theatre.

The equipment includes an 86″ CTouch interactive touchscreen display, a wired speaker system, an amplifier, an audio-conferencing microphone system and a new lectern.

All the equipment was linked together with a wireless meeting room system to reduce cabling and the whole system was installed with curatorial supervision to minimise the impact on the historic fabric.

The new equipment is used not only by the Friends for monthly lectures and events but also by other local groups and by English Heritage for internal meetings and training sessions.
